Strategic Account Manager - Texas

Industry-leading provider of business information solutions is seeking an energetic and passionate Strategic Account Manager for its Texas territory. 

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for creating sales revenue from new and existing customers and maximizing revenue generation within large accounts.  This includes accurately forecasting business and market needs, formulating and implementing sales strategy, and achieving sales targets, while ensuring high customer satisfaction.  Additional responsibilities include understanding market requirements, product capabilities and future industry developments and trends; working with marketing and sales support, responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), writing proposals and quotations, and all other aspects of account management.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years experience in selling business information solutions to C level executives within sales and marketing, risk management, and credit organizations of large corporations
  • Experience with database management and hygiene solutions
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce.com a plus
  • Expert knowledge of powerpoint, word and excel
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing at many levels
