As a 2008 Olympic sponsor, companies have global exposure and sole use to the Olympics images and logos, but it comes with a high price tag. 12 Global sponsors, including McDonald’s, are each paying up to $100 million to sponsor the Beijing Games. Coca-Cola is one of the top U.S. sponsors of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, spending about $70 million to do so.
